Fumigation

One of our founding members sailed on a log carrier during one of his tenures at sea. He loaded logs in New Zealand and discharged them in China. Before the logs can he discharged, they had to be fumigated, and thus a fumigator from New Zealand also joined the voyage. The officer worked closely with the fumigator in the successful fumigation of the logs before discharging them at the arrival port. This happened over a period of three years.
